“Drum It Up!” is an excellent resource of sequential drumming pieces for frame drums, hand drums, barrel drums, tubanos, congas, and small percussion. Appropriate for grades K – 5, these 20 pieces are student-tested and can be used in your music classrooms as well as for performances. They range from easy frame drum pieces using the echo process to show stoppers with black light beaters and even sock mallets beating on giant barrel drums! Each piece has suggested movement and teaching ideas, notes on how to best use the teaching ideas, and introduction to basic musical forms (AB, ABA, Rondo, Additive).
