The Arturia FX Collection 6 Pro bundles thirty‑nine precision‑engineered audio effects that combine revered studio emulations with forward‑thinking processors, giving music makers every tool required to transform, enhance and finish tracks.
All‑in‑One effects ecosystem
The suite unites classic units—Rev Plate‑140, Tape J‑37, Dist Coldfire, Filter MS‑20 and more—with freshly re‑engineered counterparts. Each effect preserves the tonal heritage of its analogue predecessor while adding modern modulation, side‑chain routing and high‑resolution DSP. Users enjoy a seamless workflow because every plug‑in shares a unified colour scheme, scalable UI scaling and consistent shortcut mapping.
Five brand‑new processors
Efx Ambient introduces six uniquely crafted modes, tone‑and‑space controls and an XY‑pad that maps spatial parameters to a single gesture. Pitch Shifter‑910 pairs vintage‑style granular algorithms with a clean FFT engine, providing both warm grit and surgical precision. Bus Transient delivers frequency‑specific, multiband shaping, real‑time visual feedback and integrated clipping that tightens transients without sacrificing musicality. Mix Drums consolidates compression, transient‑shaping and saturation into a single drag‑and‑drop interface, allowing engineers to dial in punch with a single click. Tape J‑37 reproduces the legendary Studer tape machine through four colour modes, tube‑driven saturation and dedicated wow‑and‑flutter controls that retain high‑frequency clarity.
Preset library and intelligent browsing
One hundred thirty‑four new presets distribute across twenty‑four effects, each tagged with rich metadata, author notes and genre hints. Faster browsing leverages indexed keywords and colour‑coded tags, while refreshed featured lists surface the most popular sounds for quick audition. Users locate the ideal setting in seconds, then customise parameters without losing the original creative intent.
Advanced control surface
Every effect hosts a dedicated control panel that groups related parameters into logical sections. Global gain, output metering and bypass operate consistently across the suite, reducing menu hunting. Modulation matrices allow users to assign LFOs, envelopes or MIDI CCs to any knob, fostering dynamic movement that reacts to performance gestures. The suite supports automation curves that retain sub‑sample accuracy, ensuring smooth transitions during mix‑down.
Compatibility and performance
Arturia FX Collection runs natively on Windows 10/11 and macOS 12 or later, supporting VST3, AU and AAX formats. Low‑latency processing consumes under 15 % CPU on a typical 8‑core workstation when all thirty‑nine plug‑ins load simultaneously. Sixty‑four‑bit floating‑point precision guarantees headroom for mastering‑grade projects, while GPU‑accelerated visualisers render waveform previews without taxing the main CPU.
